Screamer Telecommunications Services Privacy Policy

1.      Information Collected and Stored Automatically:

         When you visit our web site to read pages or download information, we may automatically collect and store the following
         non-identifying information:
                  a. The Internet protocol (IP) address from which you access our web site. An IP address is a unique number that is
                      automatically assigned to the computer you are using whenever you are surfing the web.
                  b. The type of browser, such as Netscape or Internet Explorer, and operating system, such as Windows 98 or Linux,
                      used to access our site.
                  c. The date and time our site is accessed, for the purpose of monitoring demand.
                  d. The pages visited, for the purpose of improving the usefulness of our web site by providing helpful links and
                      removing pages that are not read.

         This information does not identify you personally. We maintain the above information in system logs. We use this information
         to make our site more useful to visitors by learning the number of visitors to our site, the number of pages served, and the
         level of demand for specific pages. We do not track or record information about identifiable individuals and their visits.

         You can browse sites without telling us who you are, or revealing any of your personal information. We do track the Internet
         address of the domains of visitors and analyse such for trends and statistics. The individual user remains anonymous.

2.       Information Collected from E-mail:
        
  When you send us personally-identifying information in an e-mail, we use the information you provide only to help us gather
          the information you might request. In an effort to respond to your request, information you submit may be viewed by various
          people within Web Africa. Once received, the information to your e-mail is protected in accordance with law, (e.g. the Privacy
          Act and the Freedom of Information Act).

3.       Cookies:
          Some of our web pages utilise "cookies" so that we can provide you with more tailored information when you return to our
          site. "Cookies" are used to enhance your interactive experience and generally improve the service which we offer you. You
          can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, to decide whether or not to accept it.

4.       Security, Intrusion, and Detection:
          For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, our computer system employs
          software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise
          cause damage.

5.       Disclosure:
           •  SCREAMER will protect the confidentiality of its subscribers' information, and use its subscribers' information only for the
              purpose permitted or required.
           •  SCREAMER will only release its subscriber's information to a third party under the following circumstances:
                  • when directed by the written instruction of the subscriber or prospective subscriber;
                  • when directed by an order of Court;
                  • to the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa for the purpose of compiling, verifying or auditing any
                    reports, accounts or other information required under SCREAMER's licence or in terms of the Electronic Communications
                    Act, 2005 and the regulations made pursuant to that Act; • where it is necessary to properly deal with and comply with any
                    legislative enactment or regulation in respect of any complaint lodged in terms of SCREAMER’s complaints handling procedure;
                  • during the process of debt collection;
                  • to SCREAMER’s attorneys in connection with any potential, threatened or actual litigation;
                  • to SCREAMER’ auditors for the purpose of auditing their accounts; and o in terms of any applicable law.
                  • We may from time to time disclose aggregate information to third parties to identify the user population in general terms, e.g.
                    52% males visit a particular site. Your identity and/or personal information will under no circumstances be disclosed.

6.       Limitation of Responsibility:
          We are not responsible for the privacy practices of or the content on sites linking out of the SCREAMER network. You agree to
          exclude SCREAMER from any liability arising from your access to sites other than those on the SCREAMER network.
